Austin Ritzel, Product Specialist, Clarity AI

Austin’s area of specialization lies in Clarity AI’s suite of impact and sustainable investment solutions, helping to ensure that Clarity AI continues to deliver novel, meaningful, and deeply actionable solutions to its clients. Austin straddles client consulting, product, and research realms to understand client needs, support the integration of tools and data into their investment infrastructure, and ensure that emerging demands continue to inform product development. Through his work at Clarity AI, he carries forward his mission of marrying capital to purpose.

Prior to joining Clarity AI, Austin led the consulting arm of 17 Asset Management as the firm’s Director of Consulting and Communications. In that capacity, he led teams dedicated to helping clients embed the Sustainable Development Goals and impact management and measurement processes into their operations, while simultaneously supporting internal teams focused on the development of novel financial products.

Austin holds an MSc in International Political Economy with specializations in international business and global environmental politics from The London School of Economics and a BA in International Affairs from The University of Denver.

Borja_Cadenato

Borja Cadenato, Director of Product, Clarity AI

Borja Cadenato leads the ESG product team at Clarity AI – a sustainability tech company that uses machine learning and big data to deliver environmental and social insights to investors, organizations, and consumers. He coordinates efforts across the Research, Data Science and Tech teams to develop winning solutions for ESG Risk assessment, analysis, benchmarking and reporting, including the Exposures and Controversies products. He joined the company in 2021, bringing to the company more than 15 years of experience in financial markets sales and trading at leading financial institutions such as Santander, BBVA or Citibank.

Carl_Balslev_Clausen

Carl Balslev Clausen, Director and Head of ESG Product Management, SimCorp

Carl is globally responsible for ESG solutions across all business areas in SimCorp, a leading provider of investment management solutions to the world's largest asset managers, fund managers, asset servicers, pension and insurance funds, wealth managers, central banks, sovereign wealth funds, and treasury. His team works in close partnership with SimCorp's most ambitious clients to further evolve ESG solutions, services, and partnerships that enable SimCorp's clients to meet their long term ESG objectives. Prior to working with ESG and Sustainable Investing, he was responsible for Advanced analytics and modelling of derivatives.

Carl holds a PhD from Technical University of Denmark, an MBA from Henley Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Freddie_Woolfe

Freddie Woolfe, Investment Analyst, Jupiter Asset Management

Freddie is an Investment Analyst in Jupiter’s Global Sustainable Equities team. Before joining Jupiter, Freddie was Head of Responsible Investment and Stewardship and Merian Global Investors. Prior to that he was a Responsible Investment Analyst in Newton Investment Management's equity research team. Before that he led the UK stewardship team at Hermes EOS.

Freddie has a degree in Modern Languages and an MBA with distinction. He is also a Fellow of the RSA.
