Pensions for Purpose hires independent director

Pensions for Purpose, the members association for UK pension funds, has appointed Kevin Jones as an independent director.

Jones also serves as director of risk and general counsel at Brunel Pension Partnership (BPP) where he is responsible for the fund’s legal issues.

One of the main roles he has fulfilled in his time at BPP is implementing new portfolio legal structures to manage the transition of more than £30 billion of client assets into the firm’s management.

His private practice has been focused on investment management, mergers and acquisitions and equity fundraisings.
