Swiss asset manager Notz Stucki has appointed Christophe Verbaere as group chief operating officer with responsibility partly for digital transformation.
Verbaere was most recently chief technology officer at Swiss fixed income specialist Atlanticomnium and he replaces Patrick Harmon who is leaving Notz Stucki after ten years with the firm.
Verbaere trained in data science and artificial intelligence at L’École nationale de la statistique et de l’analyse de l’information in Paris, and his appointment signals an intention to deepen Notz Stucki’s technology capability.
The firm, which has 10 billion Swiss francs (€9.07 billion) in assets under management, said technological innovation is now “key to securing the future growth of an asset management company”.
