SGSS/Simcorp partnership gains front-office win

A French asset management firm has outsourced certain operations including front-office portfolio management to Societe Generale Securities Services (SGSS) and Simcorp.

Sunny Asset Management is using SGSS’ CrossWise system for outsourced operations, combined with Simcorp’s Dimension – which is integrated into CrossWise – for front office portfolio management.

The mandate was won by SGSS and Simcorp working in partnership.

Jacques Cadenat, CEO of Sunny AM, said the outsourcing would allow the firm to focus on core activities: performance and marketing.

SGSS is already custodian, trustee and fund administrator of all Sunny AM funds. The firm has been a client of SGSS since 2010, when Sunny AM was founded with the aim of providing investments for euro-denominated funds.
