Schroders appoints Tim Goodman as head of corporate governance

Schroders has hired Tim Goodman to focus on the development of the company’s engagement and voting on corporate governance issues.

He joined the firm from Federated Hermes and has 29 years of experience within ESG.

Goodman served at Federated Hermes for 14 years, most recently in the role of director of engagement where he focused on energy, technology, consumer goods and retail sectors.

He also has experience in various senior management positions within the insurance industry and served as a company secretary for UK-listed Domestic & General plc.

Kimberly Lewis, head of active ownership at Schroders, said: “Tim is a well-seasoned, and highly respected professional within the sustainability, responsible investing, and corporate stewardship sectors both in the UK, as well as in North America.”
