Robeco appoints bond managers

Robeco has appointed two senior people to its global fixed income macro team, including Jamie Stuttard (pictured) who joins from HSBC bank to co-manage the team in a newly created role.

Stuttard also becomes a fixed income strategist at the Netherlands-based asset manager and will also co-manage Robeco’s Global Total Return Bond Fund and All Strategy Euro Bonds Fund together with Fred Belak, and be a credit strategist.

At HSBC Bank in London he was head of European and US credit strategy and he has previously worked at Fidelity, Schroder Investment Management and Pimco Europe.

Regina Borromeo has also joined the team as a portfolio manager and previously worked at Brandywine Global Investment Management in London, where she was most recently head of international high yield.

Belak, who has ultimate responsibility for the team, said the appointments would strengthen the firm’s macro capability and more closely align Robeco’s macro fixed income and credit strategies.
