RBC appoints transfer agency head

Ronan Doyle has become the new global head of product management for transfer agency at RBC Investor & Treasury Services and will be located in Dublin.

The role was previously occupied by Geert Pick, who left RBC in March to become global head of digital and business change at Intertrust group. During his six months in the post, Pick was responsible for steering the strategic direction of the RBC’s transfer agency product.

Doyle joins the Toronto-based bank from the Bank of Ireland, where he was chief operating officer for group customer, digital and innovation.

During a 15-year career in the asset servicing industry, he has also served as head of Citi’s transfer agency product management team for the Emea region.

He reports to Paul Stillabower, global head of product management, who is now in his second stint at the Canadian bank, having rejoined in 2011 after an eight-year spell at HSBC Securities Services.
