Railpen, which manages the UK Railways’ pension schemes, has appointed Mads Gosvig as chief fiduciary officer.
Gosvig will be responsible for determining the scheme’s high-level investment strategy and the risk profile of the railways’ pension schemes.
He joins Railpen from ATP Group, Denmark’s largest pension scheme, where he was head of investment strategy.
He previously worked for Danske Bank and the Danish Central Bank.
Michelle Ostermann, Railpen’s managing director for investments, said: “Mads brings a wealth of specialist experience to Railpen which will provide a fresh perspective to our organisation.
