Pimco hires new head of Switzerland

Pimco has hired Patrick Beuret as its new executive vice president and head of Switzerland, joining from JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM).

Replacing Juerg Rimle, who left the firm earlier in the year, Beuret will head Pimco’s Swiss client management team and be responsible for further developing strategic growth opportunities across channels within the Swiss market.

Based in Pimco’s Zurich office, Beuret will report to Ryan Blute, managing director and head of Pimco’s global wealth management business in Europe, Middle East and Africa, as well as Frank Witt, head of business in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Benelux, and the Nordics.

Beuret has more than 20 years working with investors in Switzerland and abroad. Most recently he was head of Switzerland at JPMAM.

At a global level, Pimco has hired more than 200 investment professionals since 2017.
