Mirabaud recruits head of Luxembourg

Mirabaud Group has appointed Jeff Mouton (pictured) as chief executive of Mirabaud & Cie in Luxembourg.

Mouton has worked in Luxembourg for 30 years and oversees the Swiss bank’s European platform, reporting directly to Nicolas Mirabaud, managing partner.

Raphaël Spahr previously headed the business and was in place since 2013. He remains with Mirabaud to head a team dedicated to the development of wealth management.

Mouton has a history working in wealth management at the “intersection of Switzerland and the European Union”, having worked for Julius Baer and Pictet.

In May, the firm announced the appointment of Stuart Bates as UK CEO. Mirabaud said it had also added additional people to its wealth management teams.
