Mediolanum adds equity manager to team

Ireland-based Mediolanum International Funds has added David Whitehead as equity portfolio manager to its multi-manager team. He replaces Oliver Moloney who left the firm earlier this year.

Based in Dublin, Whitehead will focus on portfolio management in multi-manager strategies and work closely with the management selection team. He reports to Eoin Donegan, head of the equity multi-manager portfolio team.

He will be involved across all areas of the investment process, from asset allocation, to fund selection and portfolio construction.

Whitehead has been in the industry for over a decade. Most recently, he worked as a senior investment research analyst for a pension and investment consultant practice.

Prior to this, Whitehead was an investment analyst at the financial and investment advisory firm Acumen & Trust, in Dublin – having previously held roles with BNY Mellon and Citigroup.
