Jupiter hires head of multi-asset strategy

Jupiter Asset Management has hired Talib Sheikh as head of strategy, multi-asset.

He will join the newly created position from JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) where he was a managing director and portfolio manager.

At JPMAM Sheikh co-managed the £956 million (€1.07 billion) JPM Global Macro Opportunities Fund.

Sheikh, who joins the business in June, will work with fund managers Lee Manzi and Rhys Petheram and will report directly to chief investment officer, Stephen Pearson.

Pearson said the appointment was “perfectly aligned” with Jupiter’s strategic initiative to expand its international footprint in the multi-asset area.
