Janus Henderson hires to deal with “more sophisticated” demand

Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Norbert Fullerton to the newly-created role as regional head of institutional client strategy.

Based in London, Fullerton will be responsible for “enhancing” the way the fund manager engages with institutional clients in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (Emea), reporting back with insight from clients who are said to be wanting more sophisticated products.

Fullerton will also be involved in product development and marketing initiatives.

Prior to joining, Fullerton was most recently a senior adviser at asset management consultant MJ Hudson Allenbridge and, before that, at consultancy Mercer where he was also a partner.

He will report to Nick Adams, the firm’s head of Emea institutional, who said: “Our institutional audience is increasing their demand for sophisticated solutions and products; we were looking for a candidate to strengthen the way we work with our clients.”
