J O Hambro Capital Management (JOHCM) has appointed Frederic Lejeune as its managing director and country head for Frabelux (France, Belgium and Luxembourg).
The UK-based asset manager also announced the opening of a new office in Paris, as well as the creation of a new corporate entity in France as part of a push into the Frabelux region. The push is part of the asset manager’s wider European expansion plans, allowing them to increase client proximity and better enable them to bring their products to regional clients.
Lejeune starts at JOHCM with immediate effect and will be based in Paris. He will be responsible for sales in France, Belgium and Luxembourg and will report to TJ Voskamp, head of UK, Europe and Asian Distribution.
Lejeune most recently served as president and managing director of Robeco France. Prior to this, he worked for Aberdeen France as their directeur général délégué and as their head of business development for France and Monaco.
He has also previously worked for Credit Suisse Asset Management as head of business development. Voskamp said: “Continental Europe and the Frabelux in particular are a significant opportunity for JOHCM. I am delighted to welcome Frederic Lejeune to lead our distribution in these markets.
“We can count on his long and proven track record and deep client relationships. When coupled with our new corporate entity in France and our new office in Paris this shows our commitment to expanding across Europe.”
