Investec boosts German sales team

Investec Asset Management has appointed Sebastian Höck as a sales director to join its seven strong German distribution team.

Based in Frankfurt, Höck will be responsible for growing the firm’s relationships with wholesale clients in Germany and Austria, including financial advisers and selectors from banks and fund platforms.

He joins Investec from Allianz Global Investors, where he most recently worked as a key account manager for banks in Germany and Austria.

Prior to that, he worked at Ethenea and Carmignac.

Aymeric François, country head for Germany and Austria, said: “Sebastian’s appointment reinforces Investec Asset Management’s commitment to the region, which has increased its assets under management from €1.5bn in 2014 to almost €7bn today.”
