Invesco has appointed Andy Dwiar to its London-based exchange-traded fund (ETF) capital markets team.
Dwiar will head the firm’s ETF capital markets for the UK, Benelux and Nordic region. He replaces Tom Digby who has moved to Hong Kong.
According to Invesco, the hire comes at a time of “record growth” for its Europe, Middle East, and Africa (Emea) ETF business.
Reporting to Jim Goldie, Emea head of ETF capital markets, Dwiar will focus on developing and enhancing the liquidity and trading system for the fund manager’s Ucits ETFs.
He joins from BMO Global Asset Management where he was responsible for ETF capital markets Emea. He has also worked at BlueBay Asset Management, Credit Suisse, and Thames River Capital.
Goldie said: “His experience will allow us to better service our clients and improve the trading ecosystem of our Ucits ETF range.”
“In an environment where every basis point counts, trading is becoming an increasingly competitive and important part of the ETF experience and we strive to offer our clients a best-in-class service when it comes to buying and selling our ETFs.”
