Intertrust hires director from rival firm to push private wealth

Fund administration firm Intertrust has hired a private wealth expert from IQ-EQ, another specialist fund administrator, in order to develop more technology capability in the high-net-worth servicing sector.

Francis Parisis joins Intertrust as global head of business development for private wealth.

Parisis was previously a director at IQ-EQ in Luxembourg and his five-year career there included three years as family office service leader.

Intertrust – which recently acquired US fund administrator Viteos – said it had focused on leveraging artificial intelligence, blockchain and robotics process automation in its business.

The Netherlands-based firm said it intended to deploy these more deeply into the private wealth market because client requirements have “evolved from a traditional trustee or family office, to a service provider with the capability to meet their global lifestyle and fast-moving needs”. Parisis’ role will support this.
