HSBC has partnered with Clearstream to process its investment funds activities for fund order routing, including safekeeping, settlement and distribution support services.

The post-trading service provider will enable the processing of mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity and ETFs on a single platform.

Sebastien Danloy, global head of investor services, markets and securities at HSBC, said: “We selected Clearstream as our global partner to simplify our post-trade operations, drive digitisation and enable further growth for fund order routing and settlement activities”.

Clearstream fund centre offers centralised contract maintenance, commission management and exchange of data and information between distribution partners and fund providers.

Clearstream is a part of Deutsche Börse Group, which provides the post-trade infrastructure for the Eurobond market.
