Franklin Templeton appoints head of Emea distribution

Franklin Templeton has appointed Julian Ide as head of Emea distribution.

Edinburgh-based Ide will remain as the chief executive of specialist investment boutique, Martin Currie, and report to Franklin Templeton’s recently-appointed head of global advisory services, Adam Spector.

Jenny Johnson, president of Franklin Templeton, said: “Julian’s strength as a leader and experience in international markets positions him well to lead our combined business in Emea.”

Ide has over 25 years of experience in the investment industry, including as chief executive of Source and Old Mutual Global Investors.
