Former Standard Life tech man joins Sanne

Daryn Kerr, formerly at Standard Life Aberdeen (SLA), has joined alternative investment administration firm Sanne to become global head of technology change.

Kerr, who was head of infrastructure and platform services at SLA, will lead the creation of an “enterprise architecture and technology portfolio” and report to Marie Measures, chief technology officer, as part of a wider technology strategy.

Kerr said he was attracted to Sanne due to a “huge potential for technology transformation backed by a committed executive leadership team”.

Sanne, which is a FTSE 250 company with £250 billion (€287 billion) of assets under administration, has also promoted Jason Bingham to chief strategy officer. He was previously managing director of product development and has been with the firm since 2012.

In New York, the firm has hired Marta Ciemiega, formerly of RBC Investor & Treasury Services, as business development director.
