Paris Jordan, formerly an ESG fund manager at Sanlam Investments, has joined an investor research firm, Murano.
Jordan is to head a new subsidiary called Murano Consulting that will focus on producing competitor analysis and investment strategy audits for actors in the investment management industry.
At Sanlam Investments, a UK wealth manager, Jordan developed and managed the firm’s ethical and socially responsible investment portfolios.
Ole Rollag, who founded Murano in 2011 in order to connect institutional investors and asset managers, indicated the new subsidiary firm will focus on asset managers, including smaller organisations.
Generally, asset allocators as well serviced by consultants, he said. “But within the sell-side funds community, especially for the managers running smaller funds, there has been a dearth of dedicated consultancy support. Until now.”
