Asoka Wöhrmann, the former chief executive of DWS, has become the CEO of real estate and infrastructure firm Patrizia.
Wöhrmann (pictured) resigned from DWS following accusations last year against the firm of alleged greenwashing in some of its funds.
The real asset firm, which is based in Germany, also announced that Wolfgang Egger, Patrizia's founder and current CEO, will support Wöhrmann in a short transition period and then focus on client relationships.
Patrizia has also appointed Slava Shafir, formerly of Corsair Capital, as chief operating officer to drive the development of business operations, IT and fund services.
Wöhrmann's term began on May 1, and co-CEO Thomas Wels will continue to support Patrizia as senior advisor with a particular focus on Asia-Pacific and Japan once his term ends.
