Fidelity offers staff more flexibility between home and office work

Fidelity International is now offering its employees across the globe the chance to work flexibly, allowing them to manage their own working patterns according to what their jobs require.

The new ‘dynamic working’ policy enables staff to combine home and office work in a way that suits their role whilst meeting the needs of colleagues and clients, the firm said in a statement.

The aim of the initiative is to offer employees as much flexibility as possible and a working environment which “they enjoy and where they feel supported and valued”.

Fidelity’s chief executive, Anne Richards, said: “Over the course of the last year, many things have changed in our daily lives and one of those is the way we work.”

“We have learned that we can adapt brilliantly as individuals and as teams and run our business in a way that we never imagined possible.”

She highlighted that employees had given feedback saying they value having more choice and flexibility when it comes to their work, as well as being able to meet colleagues and be part of the “buzz” of office life.

The fund manager has also recently added employee benefits such as family care leave and “enhanced” parental leave.
