Fidelity International has appointed Molly Petken as director, digital business & innovation, Europe.
In the newly created role. Petken will lead the development and build-out of Fidelity’s digital strategy and distribution partnerships in Europe and will be based in London.
Petken rejoins Fidelity from PrimaryBid, where she focused on the origination and execution of equity capital market transactions.
Prior to this, Petken worked at Fidelity for eight years across several areas, including EMEA capital markets, global trading solutions, and strategic relationship management. She will report to Christian Machts, CAO, Europe.

“Ms. Petken’s appointment will play a key role, supporting the business on new opportunities in all areas related to partnerships with fintechs, start-ups and innovation more broadly. We are very pleased to welcome her to Fidelity once again,” he added.
Fidelity recent expanded its thematic ETF offering with a number of new digital-centric funds. The new ETF range, domiciled in Ireland, includes five funds covering clean energy, electric vehicles and future transportation, cloud computing, digital health and the metaverse.
