DWS launches Xtrackers ETFs on equity factors with ESG criteria

ESG, ETF, equityAsset manager DWS has introduced four new Xtrackers ETFs, providing investors with the ability to track specific equity factors while incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) criteria.

The Xtrackers MSCI World Factor ESG UCITS ETFs offer investors exposure to various equity factors, including value, momentum, quality and minimum volatility.

The ETFs utilise the MSCI World Factor Low Carbon SRI Screened Select series, integrating ESG considerations into the investment process.

The ESG factor indices reflect the underlying equity factors with similar accuracy as a non-ESG index, said DWS.

The ETFs are currently listed on the German Stock Exchange and London Stock Exchange.

"Almost ten years after Xtrackers launched the first factor ETFs, investors can now use these strategies as part of a sustainable asset allocation," said Simon Klein, global head of Xtrackers sales, DWS.
