Dan Ellis joins Charles Stanley

Charles Stanley has hired Dan Ellis as director of investment management services (IMS) in London.

His responsibilities include providing leadership and oversight of the London office to help deliver the strategic objectives of the IMS division.

Ellis will report directly to Ian Sackfield, managing director of IMS.

He said: “[Dan Ellis] joins as a key member of the leadership team and with deep knowledge and experience of the wealth management industry.”

Prior to joining Charles Stanley, Ellis worked as a senior consultant on projects for wealth management businesses such as Tilney Smith & Williamson.

He also spent seven years as the head of investments for Royal Bank of Canada’s wealth management international division.

“I’m confident that [Dan’s] proven track record will help to drive the business forward and maintain our strong foothold and reputation for excellent client service in the London private wealth market,” Sackfield added.
