Fisch Asset Management has appointed Angela Eder and Vladimir Khmyrov from within its business to the firm’s executive committee.
Khmyrov, the firm’s chief technology officer, heads a newly created technology division at the Zurich-based asset manager that will “enhance the analytical aspect of portfolio management”.
Meanwhile, Eder is a board member of Fisch’s Luxembourg management company Fisch Fund Services AG. Fisch Fund Services has been amalgamated with the product management unit within Fisch Asset Managment to develop the firm’s fund and mandate offering.
Juerg Sturzenegger, chief executive, said: “Developing the organisational structure of the firm and expanding the executive committee are key steps in the implementation of our long-term strategy at Fisch, and we are committed to executing this to enable us to best meet the needs of our clients and investors now and in the future.”
Fisch, which has the equivalent of around €9 billion of assets under management, said the appointment would address the “more complex demands placed on active asset managers”.
