Crestbridge names head of private equity

Fund administrator Crestbridge has appointed Alex di Santo as group head of private equity, taking over from Michael Johnson who has been promoted to group head of institutional services.

Di Santo, formerly a director at Intertrust Group, will be responsible for developing and implementing the firm’s private equity fund services. He reports to Johnson, who was poached from Intertrust in 2019.

Based in Jersey, di Santo brings nearly 20 years’ experience in the financial services industry, 14 of which have been focused on private capital fund administration.

He is also said to have “significant” expertise covering private debt and private equity.

According to Crestbridge, the business has continued to grow despite the pandemic. This has been driven in large part by private equity, venture capital, and real estate fund managers, the firm said.
