Consultancy Alpha recruits to expand benchmarking

Asset management consultancy firm Alpha FMC (Alpha) has added to its industry benchmarking team to support plans to increase its offering.

London-based Alpha has appointed Emma Haffenden to the new role of senior manager.

The firm intends for Haffenden to broaden the types of benchmarking it already carries out and offer additional insights to help clients “understand their businesses and take actions to meet their strategic objectives”.

Haffenden joins from Accenture, bringing with her 15 years’ experience of business and technology strategy consulting services.

Described by Alpha as a “well-respected industry benchmarking expert”, she specialises in research, analysis, benchmarking, and competitive intelligence.

Alpha’s UK chief executive Stuart McNulty said that the company is planning a number of new studies to meet client demand and Haffenden’s appointment forms part of this “expansion strategy”.

The firm counts “85 out of the top 100 asset managers” worldwide among its clients.
