Capital Group recruits portfolio manager

US asset manager Capital Group has appointed Nadia Grant as a portfolio manager for its solutions group investment team.

Grant will be based in London as part of a team managing multi-asset funds for European and Asia clients, reporting to Brad Vogt who leads the solutions investment group.

Prior to joining Capital, Grant was head of Emea-based US equities at Columbia Threadneedle after having spent 13 years at JP Morgan Asset Management in various roles.

Grant’s appointment comes at a time when Capital is looking to expand its multi-asset capabilities.

“A key priority of the firm’s long-term growth strategy in Europe and Asia is to continue to expand the range of solutions we can offer our clients. Bringing skilled investment talent like Nadia on board will help us achieve this goal,” said Simon Levell, solutions investment director.
