BNY Mellon appoints asset servicing and digital COO

Former Invesco global head of investment and distribution services and chief digital officer Michael Janiszewski has joined BNY Mellon as asset servicing and digital COO.

He will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s asset servicing strategy, digital and business operations.

Based in New York, he will report to Roman Regelman, CEO of asset servicing and head of digital.

His appointment is one of a number of changes at the global custodian, including its fund services team, currently led by Alan Flanagan where Janelle Prevost will become head of investor solutions.

BNY Mellon is also bolstering its front-to-back solutions business with two appointments.

Karthik Iyer will lead the delivery of its OMNI platform as head of product delivery, while Alina Peradze will become head of front office solutions.
