Teslin Capital Management has selected BNP Paribas Securities Services to manage the depot bank and custody services for Teslin Capital’s €1.2 billion global assets.
BNP Paribas will also provide tailored investment and fund administration for those assets.
Teslin Capital Management is a long-term investor which focuses on small- and mid-cap companies in the Netherlands and other European capital markets.
Koos van der Helm, manager of finance, Operations & Risk at Teslin Capital Management, also commented: “We were impressed with BNP Paribas’s capabilities and solutions and their ability to meet our specific needs and requirements for the benefit of our clients.”
BNP Paribas Securities Services has been selected by several European firms for custody services in the past year.
Last October, BNP Paribas Securities Services was selected to provide custody for Dutch private banking company Van Lanschot Kempen’s (VLK) €16 billion in assets.
In that deal, BNP Paribas provided global custody, depositary bank, fund accounting, regulatory reporting and collateral management for VLK’s asset management arm, Kempen Capital Management.
In March, BNP Paribas had also been selected for a €300 billion custody mandate in the wider Eurozone as revealed in its first quarter earnings. However, the client remained unnamed.
At the same time, alongside Helaba Invest, BNP Paribas was selected by Provinzial Asset Management to service the German asset manager’s entire investment portfolio, representing €50 billion in assets.
