Alpha FMC appoints director in Singapore

London-based fund management consultancy firm Alpha FMC has hired Paul Tan to the newly-created role of director for its Asia Pacific team as it moves to increase its offering in the region.

Prior to his appointment, Tan spent five years at Greenwich Associates, where he was managing director of the firm’s Asia Pacific activities.

The firm’s franchise expanded into India and the Middle East under his leadership.

Tan has 15 years’ industry experience, having worked in global, regional, and domestic financial institutions across Asia. He said that accepting Alpha’s offer was an “easy decision”.

Alpha operates out of offices in twelve major financial cities including London, Luxembourg, Boston, and Singapore.

The firm counts “85 out of the top 100 asset managers” worldwide among its clients.
