Krane and Bosera plan to list MSCI China A Index ETF on NYSE

Krane Funds Advisors and Bosera Asset Management have licensed the MSCI China A Index for a new exchange-traded fund (ETF) to be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

“This will be the first NYSE-listed ETF tracking the MSCI China A Index, which provides the broadest exposure to the opportunities of the A shares market,” says Jonathan Krane, chief executive officer of KraneShares.

Charles Wang, Bosera’s chief investment officer, adds that the MSCI China A Index covers not only large-cap but also mid-cap stocks with significant index exposures to growth sectors.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, Bosera Asset Management is one of the first five asset managers established in China and has a registered capital of 250 million renminbi (€29.4 million).

KraneShares is a product of Krane Fund Advisors, a boutique asset manager specialising in delivering China-focused ETFs to US investors.
