Invesco Real Estate hires head of asset management in Europe

Invesco Real Estate has hired Etienne Dupuy to lead the firm’s European asset management team, replacing Neil Harris, who left last year to join Starwood Capital.

Dupuy will be senior director of asset management, Europe, and manage a team of 16 asset managers while based in the firm’s office in Paris. Unlike Harris, he will be a member of the company’s executive management group.

Dupuy previously spent five years as managing director at BNP Paribas Real Estate Investment Services and before that spent nine years at AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.

Harris began working for Starwood Capital in October as senior vice president of European asset management. He was in his role at Invesco Real Estate for four years.

Invesco Real Estate has $55.7 billion (€41 billion) of assets under management, $7.3 billion of which are in Europe. Six of the firm’s 18 offices are in Europe as well as 112 staff.
