Options names chief financial officer

Jon LambertOptions, a specialist provider of IT infrastructure services to the global capital markets industry, has appointed Jon Lambert to the position of chief financial officer (CFO).

Lambert will help lead the group’s strategic finance function and global financial operations, which will include the oversight of Options’ regional finance teams in Europe, the US and Asia.

Lambert has 25 years’ of experience within financial services and infrastructure, having previously served as CFO for TIBCO and Wombat Financial Software during critical growth phases for both firms. Most recently, he was CFO of HotChalk, an education technology company.

Founded in 1993, Options began life providing technology services to hedge funds. A decade ago, the company became the first provider to offer cloud services to the financial sector.

Over 200 financial services firms in 20 countries now leverage the Options platform, including global investment banks, hedge funds, funds of funds, proprietary trading firms, private equity houses and exchanges.
