Owain McNeill has been appointed as business development director in charge of UK clients, at asset servicing and banking group Caceis.
The newly created role is a response to the firm recently opening a branch in the UK. McNeill will reports to Annie Blouin, head of regional coverage for North America, UK and Ireland.
McNeill will manage the teams in charge of sales activity for the UK. He is responsible for further developing Caceis’ sales activity with UK asset managers, institutional investors, banks and brokers, as well as strengthening the relationship with existing clients.
With over ten years’ experience in the institutional fund services sector covering alternative investment and traditional asset managers, McNeill joins Caceis from US Bancorp where he was senior vice president for sales in the London office.
He has also held senior positions at HSBC and Citi, where he was a director of sales at Citi Global Investor Services. He started his career as a software developer, then business manager for alternative investments at TIM Group, a company developing technology for the finance sector in London.
Caceis has assets under custody of €2.4 trillion and assets under administration of €1.4 trillion, as at December 31, 2014.
