Standard Life makes Australian push

Standard Life Investments has confirmed its commitment to building its business in Australia by appointing an investment director

and client relationship manager dedicated to developing the firm’s presence on the continent.

Craig Aspinall, formerly of Macquarie Global Investments, joined Standard Life Investments as investment director, responsible for developing the firm’s business in Australia. In his new role, he will be working closely with institutional investors and consultants.

Diana Ryan, who joined from AMP Capital, was appointed client relationship manager with responsibility for supporting Standard Life Investments’ business development initiatives. She will also provide client service and relationship management to clients and consultants.

Craig and Diana will report to Simone Bouch, head of business, Australasia, Standard Life Investments.
