Reshuffle at OMGI corporate bond fund

Old Mutual Global Investors (OMGI) has announced the promotion of Lloyd Harris as lead fund manager of its €685m Corporate Bond fund.

As of next month, Harris will take over from Christine Johnson, head of fixed income. Johnson will continue as deputy manager while focussing on building the wider fixed income team.

Harris has been with OMGI since January 2012, and has co-managed the fund since May 2015. OMGI states the fund’s investment process will remain unchanged.

In addition to Harris’ promotion, Tim Barker will be promoted to the newly-created position of head of credit, from his current role of head of credit research. In this position, Barker will be responsible for managing credit experts in the fixed income team, as well as providing guidance on asset allocation and stock selection.
