Principal Global Investors expands into the Netherlands

Diversified asset management firm Principal Global Investors (Europe) today announced the opening of a new office in the Netherlands.

Headed up by Jeroen van Rooij, who has been appointed as head of institutional sales for the Benelux region, the move aims to build on experience with its existing pension fund clients in the region.

European CEO of Principal, Nick Lyster, said: “Over the last six years Principal has expanded significantly into continental Europe. Jeroen’s appointment and the opening of the new office clearly underscores our commitment to one of Europe’s most important and vibrant pension markets.”
