JP Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) has appointed Patrick Beuret as country head for Switzerland and has added to its Swiss funds team by hiring Peter Leffler as a senior sales executive.
In his new role, Beuret will be responsible for continuing to grow JP Morgan’s funds business in Switzerland, focusing on business development and strengthening existing client relationships.
He will be based in Zurich and will report to Massimo Greco, head of European funds, who says Switzerland continues to be a critical market for JPMAM in Europe.
Beuret succeeds former country head Philipp Pfenniger, who has chosen to move to a senior sales executive role, which will allow the Swiss funds team to develop overall client service and coverage.
Previously a senior sales executive, Beuret has been with JPMAM since 2011, working on the growth of the firm’s Swiss funds business and managing high profile client relationships.
Prior to joining JPMAM, he was partner and co-head of sales at Bellevue Asset Management and previously served in various sales roles at Julius Baer Asset Management for nearly 10 years, including head of international clients.
Peter Leffler also joins JPMAM’s Swiss funds team, as a senior sales executive. He will be responsible for developing client relationships throughout the region.
Leffler most recently worked at Swiss & Global Asset Management, focusing on Swiss clients as a senior sales executive. Prior to that, he served as a product manager and business developer at UBS and as a senior sales executive at Julius Baer Asset Management.
JPMAM has $1.7 trillion (€1.58 trillion) in assets under management as at June 30, 2014.
