Old Mutual Asset Management (OMAM) has appointed Trevedi Tewari as head of institutional, UK and Ireland.
Tewari will begin his role on June 1, and will report to Olivier Lebleu, head of international business for OMAM. He will join OMAM’s global distribution team, which provides sales, marketing and client relationship support to assist the distribution capabilities of the firm’s affiliates.
With 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, Tewari joins OMAM from his position as a director in consultant relations at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (now part of Aberdeen Asset Management), where he performed a relationship management and sales role on the firm’s institutional team.
Linda Gibson, executive vice president and OMAM’s head of global distribution, says Tewari’s experience with consultants and institutions in the UK and Irish markets complements the existing coverage of OMAM’s affiliates.
OMAM has $224.0 billion (€205.1 billion) of assets under management, as at March 31, 2015.
