Invesco's head of global multi-sector portfolio management for the fixed income division Mark Nash and portfolio manager Nicholas Wall have departed the firm.
In a statement, the firm said the pair had left Invesco to pursue another opportunity in the industry, although the pair’s destination is as yet unknown.
Nash, who joined Invesco in 2001, led the global multi-sector portfolio management team in Invesco’s fixed income division. Wall, who joined in 2007, managed a number of multi-currency global bond mandates for institutional investors.
Their portfolio management responsibilities have been assigned to Sean Connery, Josef Portelli, Lyndon Man and Luke Greenwood of the fixed income global portfolio management team on an interim basis.
A spokesperson for Invesco said replacements would be found in due course. The firm was quick to reassure investors that its fixed income funds are team managed, and their performance does not rely on the views or investment acumen of any single manager.
Globally, Invesco Group manages assets of around $737.5 billion (€648 billion).
