Pieter de JongState Street has appointed its Edinburgh chief operating officer to head State Street Global Services in the Netherlands.

In his new role Pieter De Jong will report to Willie Slattery, head of the Global Services business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).

De Jong takes over from Joachim Sierig who was actively involved in establishing the new State Street Bank Amsterdam branch. Joachim Sierig has decided to pursue new opportunities outside of State Street.
