S&P Global Ratings has appointed Mar Beltran as its senior director of infrastructure ratings. The position has been newly created by the ratings agency.
Beltran, who will be based in Madrid, joins from Australia-based Global Infrastructure Hub, where she led policy work to identify priority reforms in infrastructure markets.
She advised governments of developed and developing economies on governance, regulatory frameworks, planning and delivery of infrastructure initiatives.
Susan Gray, S&P’s global head of infrastructure, said: “Mar brings a wealth of experience that encompasses both the investment and advisory worlds of infrastructure finance.”
