Schroders hires Daniel Imhof from UBS

Schroders has created a global head of sales role and recruited Daniel Imhof to the position.

Imhof joins from UBS Wealth Management where he spent 25 years, most recently as global head of portfolio specialists. He was responsible for the global distribution of investment solutions and investment funds across different client segments.

Schroders said the creation of the new role reflected the “increasing complexity of clients’ needs and their requirement for specialist knowledge”.

John Troiano, global head of distribution at Schroders, said: “Our clients’ needs are changing significantly. The creation of this new role reflects our broadening product suite and the requirement for our sales people to possess specialist knowledge across all asset classes.”

Imhof said he had worked closely with Schroders over his years at UBS.
