Sanlam UK appoints new head of portfolio management

Sanlam UK has hired Charlie Parker to the newly-created role of head of portfolio management.

Parker joins Sanlam from Neptune Investment Management, where he was director of asset management.

He has been tasked with helping grow the business and overseeing the development the firm’s proposition.

Parker said: “Portfolio management is going through complex challenges as the sector deals with regulatory changes and I am looking forward to heading up this division at Sanlam and developing a proposition that meets the specific needs of our clients.”

Sanlam UK is led by CEO Jonathan Polin.
