Royal London hires head of centralised dealing team

Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) has hired Cathy Gibson as head of dealing.

In the newly-created role, Gibson will head a centralised dealing team to cover all asset classes.

She joins from Deutsche Asset Management where she was head of fixed income trading in their UK asset management team.

Chief investment officer Piers Hillier said the appointment would help RLAM transition to its new operating model which separates fund management and trading responsibilities.

RLAM has £111.1 billion (€125.9 billion) in assets under management.
