RobecoSAM appoints global head of clients

RobecoSAM, a fund management firms that specialises in sustainable investments, has named Marius Dorfmeister as its global head of clients and also a member of the executive committee.

Dorfmeister is the first person in this role to sit on the executive committee since 2013.

Previously, Dorfmeister was a member of the executive board of Vescore, a privately owned investment manager.

His position at RobecoSAM had been vacant since 2013, when Neil Johnson, a former director at Credit Suisse in New York held a similar role.

A spokesman for the firm told Funds Europe: “At executive committee level, the sales and marketing department was not represented via a single executive committee member since 2013.

From 2011 until 2013, this position was filled by Neil Johnson.

“Since then, the RobecoSAM sales force and the marketing department reported into the chief executive officer. RobecoSAM’s new CEO, Aris Prepoudis, decided to change this setup, fill this position at executive committee level and appointed Marius Dorfmeister.”
