Punter Southall expands DC team

Emily Smits has joined Punter Southall Aspire as the business expands its defined contribution (DC) pensions consulting team.

Smits takes up a newly created role as associate director, client servicing, in London and joins from Willis Towers Watson, where she was a DC consultant supporting corporate a trust-based schemes.

Smit said: “I was recruited to ease the workload of the consultants and allow them to focus on growing the client base, and I’m looking forward to working with all our corporate and trust-based clients.”

Steve Butler, chief executive of Punter Southall Aspire, said the firm is building its support teams to facilitate growth plans.

Punter Southall Aspire is part of Punter Southall Group and works with over 800 employers on pension matters such as governance and communications.
